Objective: Design a concert poster, an instagram ad and a facebook ad with a cohesive theme.

Tasks:

2) Concert Poster assignment discussion
3) Research concert posters and images for your band's brand, logos, etc.

5) Begin concert poster and social media posts for your "show"

1) Band Name

Notes:
Part one: Concert Poster
- Standard size is 11x17. 
- It's printable, so needs to be at 300 resolution
- Want bleeds? Set your canvas to 11x17 and drag out guides from the rulers at the 1/8th mark for each edge (I can show you how to do this again)
- Does your band have a logo? Do you need to make something "logo-like" if they don't?
- Main artist goes on top, openers goes under, date goes near the bottom, website goes on the bottom and any company/brand/promoter logos goes on the bottom small. 

Part two: Facebook Ad
- Search standard dimensions for 2019 facebook ad.
- 72 resolution (for web)
- Reorganize your design to fit within the parameters of these dimensions.
- Your design MUST match the same style 

Part three: Instagram Ad
- Search standard dimensions for 2019 facebook ad.
- 72 resolution (for web)
- Reorganize your design to fit within the parameters of these dimensions.
- Your design MUST match the same style 

Objective: You have 3 days. We're doing a competition for the Fashion program. Your mission is to design a logo for the program. This needs to include thumbnails, a rough, a black and white version, a color version. You will have TWO SEPARATE variations for your logo. These will be critiqued next week as a class.
